A classic Ethiopia coffee: bright, lemony and silky. Our new Hambela Dabaye comes from the Guji zone in Ethiopia, which is considered a benchmark for high quality, complex arabica coffees. This particular lot is everything we love about the classic washed Ethiopia coffee profile. We taste meyer lemon, jasmine, vanilla, juniper, honey, and almond butter. It’s bright, silky, and elegantly drinkable. Enjoy!
About. Our Hambela Dabaye is from longtime Guji coffee farmer and mill manager, Kedir Hassan. Kedir is a talented engineer, as well as coffee farmer, who built the entire Hambela washing station with the focus on efficiency and high quality processing standards. Hambela sits at 1816 meters above sea level and coffee is grown as high as 2100 meters. Farmers in the surrounding kebeles of Buliye, Wamena, Borticha, Dari Rogicha and Dabaye contribute ripe coffee cherry to the Hambela washing station.
Unparalleled quality, a human story, and sustainability – that’s our coffee philosophy.
