This coffee is a jammy fruit bonanza! Introducing our Buena Vista Pink Bourbon. It’s so delicious and easily on our must-try list. When we first tasted this coffee, we wrote down things like so sweet, intense, jammy, deep florals, jammy fruits, and bubblegum-like. We tasted hibiscus, strawberry jam, rosewater, blueberry, and jasmine. We highly recommend you get this coffee today.
About the Farm. This lovely coffee is a single variety Pink Bourbon grown by Jamir Munoz on his farm Buena Vista in the La Muralla village of Huila, Colombia. Munoz has been cultivating coffee for 20 years which has proven to be the most sustainable and rewarding economic activity for his family, especially as he further continues to focus on higher grade, specialty coffees like this Pink Bourbon lot. Coffee cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness every three weeks (every two weeks during the rainy season.) After harvesting, the cherries are sorted by floating to separate out the less dense beans. The coffee then undergoes an oxidation process for 36-48 hours and is then depulped. After depulping, it is fermented for another 36-48 hours, washed 2-3 times, and dried on raised beds.
Unparalleled quality, a human story, and sustainability – that’s our coffee philosophy.
