Another Harraz Red Yemen coffee! And this one is the best one yet. Our Director of Coffee calls this coffee “wildly interesting.” And he’s right. This coffee is syrupy and juicy, boasting tasting notes of candied cherry, blackberry, cinnamon, and rich caramel. For a unique coffee experience from one of the oldest coffee-producing countries in the world, we highly recommend snagging a bag of this coffee today.
About. In Yemen, coffee production is deeply rooted in tradition. This particular coffee is the result of a partnership between Cafe Imports and Al Ezzi Industries owner Shabbir Ezzi. Shabbir’s goal is to make high-quality coffee a viable, sustainable, and empowering pursuit for farmers in and around the coffee region of Haraaz. With the help of our friends at Café Imports, Al-Ezzi improved processing and buying strategies in order to maximize quality, increase return to the farmers based on quality, and increase traceability. This particular lot is a Haraaz Red-meaning fresh coffee cherries were purchased directly from producers immediately after harvest and were then dried uniformly on raised beds. This lot is comprised of fresh coffee cherries collected from Ahmed Shabbir Husein Al Obaraat. Enjoy!
