This coffee comes from smallholder farmers living in or near Huatusco, located in Mexico’s central mountainous region of the state of Veracruz. Farm sizes range from very small at 1 hectare to medium size farms of up to 18 hectares. Thanks to its abundant rainfall and temperate/tropical climate, Huatusco is a perfect region for growing high quality coffee lots. This particular lot was isolated out from the rest of the coffees as a microlot due to it’s delicious cup profile. We think this coffee is super jammy, winey, and abundant in fruit, chocolate, and floral notes. If you want an easy sipper that is also still a little bit elevated, this is a great cup of coffee for you.
