This is such an elegant coffee that exemplifies all that we love about the classic Geisha profile. It’s so floral (think jasmine and lavender) and vibrant, with tasting notes of blood orange, fig, and fruity pebbles. If you are a lover of the classic Geisha profile, this coffee is for you. It was grown by Aníbal Sánchez on his farm La Siria located in the famous coffee growing region of Huila, Colombia. You may say that coffee growing is in Aníbal’s blood as he inherited La Siria from his parents and continues to build upon and improve the quality of coffee on his farm. He intercrops his coffee with what is referred to in Colombia as Pancoger-crops grown for personal consumption and for the benefit of the surrounding community. Intercropping is beneficial to the environment for a number of reasons including creating a more diverse habitat to support a wider range of flora/fauna, providing natural pest control, reducing soil erosion, improving soil structure, improving water retention, and more.
