What is the difference between the Baratza Sette 270Wi and Baratza Sette 270? The 270Wi features an integrated Acacia scale for weight-based dosing (automatically stopping at the desired weight) vs the 270 which grinds based on time. We recommend the 270Wi because dosing by weight will always be more accurate and consistent than dosing by time. However, if you don’t plan to utilize the weight based dosing, the 270 still shares the same high-performance conical burr set, similar grind speed, low retention, and 270 micro/macro adjustment settings.
