New! Las Brisas Colombia
Introducing our new Las Brisas Colombia! We love this special microlot coffee from grower Arfair Salazar and his wife, Miriam who own a 15-hectare farm called Las Brisas in Paez, Cuaca, Colombia. We have been so impressed (and a little surprised honestly) by the sheer volume of unique and exceptional lots coming out of Colombia this year and this coffee is no exception. Tasting notes include Asian pear, lavender, white chocolate, blackberry, macadamia nut, and mint. This coffee has a winey fruit acidity and is, simply put, lovely.
Las Brisas (meaning breezes) is named that because of the strong winds in the area of the farm. Arfair grew up on the farm surrounded by coffee his entire childhood. After working away from home to explore other pursuits, Arfair inherited his family farm and returned his focus to specialty coffee where he has made a name for himself as a quality-focused grower.
