About. This coffee is sourced from smallholder farmers in the Upper Waghi Valley, a region known for its black volcanic loamy soil that is ideal for growing quality coffee. Coffee growers from Ambra, Kelewa, and Wurup bring coffee cherry to the Kuta Mill where it is purchased and processed. The coffee cherries are first sorted and de-pulped. The coffee is then fermented in vats for 36 hours and washed 3 times before drying.
