New Coffee! El Mirador Guatemala

A new easy-sipper! Our new El Mirador Guatemala comes from producer Miguel Mendoza and his farm El Mirador, located in the coveted coffee growing region of Huehuetenango, Guatemala. This coffee is round and velvety with tasting notes of guava, pink grapefruit, marzipan, and dark chocolate. If you love a coffee that is a little bit of everything (a little bit fruity, a little bit nutty, a little bit chocolatey…) and are looking for an affordable, easy-sipping (yet high quality) option, this coffee is for you. We highly recommend snagging a bag while supplies last.

Farm Level Info. This particular lot was grown by second generation farmer Miguel Mendoza on his picturesque farm near the town of Andea el Pajal. El Mirador means viewing point and you can see the town and miles of mountains from Miguel’s mountaintop located in western Guatemala. Miguel has been growing coffee for over 40 years with a focus on producing top quality lots in a sustainable manner.

Unparalleled quality, a human story, and sustainability – that’s our coffee philosophy.

  • Unparalleled quality. We won’t buy a coffee unless we know that it will inspire you.
  • A human story. Often times a producer’s story gets lost in the coffee supply chain. It’s our focus to provide a seed to cup experience, honoring everyone involved.
  • Sustainability. We purchase sustainable coffees directly from producers and through brokers who share our goal of making coffee a sustainable commodity. Financially and environmentally, the coffees we purchase seek balance.
