Introducing a new bright and flowery geisha microlot from the famed coffee growing region of Huila, Colombia. Our Flor de Luna is the epitome of a classic washed Geisha in all its floral glory. Our cuppers were quite delighted by this special microlot and dubbed it our jasmine bomb. It’s velvety and sweet with a vivid acidity and tasting notes of jasmine, wildflower honey, fruity pebbles, and green apple. It comes highly recommended from the JBC cupping team who suggest snagging a bag while supplies last!
This special microlot is part of the Geshaverse Program, a program developed specifically to curate exceptional Geisha coffees from Colombia. The program highlights origins where altitude, climate, and producer expertise converge to reveal the most refined expression of this coveted variety. Ripe geisha coffee cherries are harvested and fermented in whole cherry for 48 hours. The coffee is then depulped and fermented again for 24 hours to promote enhanced aromatic complexity. The coffee is then dried and milled before export.
Unparalleled quality, a human story, and sustainability – that’s our coffee philosophy.
