Best Coffee from Mexico! Introducing our High Mountain Mexico

Best Coffee from Mexico

A new offering from Mexico! Introducing our High Mountain Mexico. This particular lot was isolated out as a microlot due to it’s delicious cup profile. We think this coffee is super jammy, winey, and abundant in fruit, chocolate, and floral notes. We taste apricot marmalade, milk chocolate, orange blossom, melon, red sangria, and almond. If you want an easy sipper that is also still a little bit elevated, this is a great cup of coffee for you.

Farm Level Info. This coffee comes from smallholder farmers living in or near Huatusco, located in Mexico’s central mountainous region of the state of Veracruz. Farm sizes range from very small at 1 hectare to medium size farms of up to 18 hectares. Thanks to its abundant rainfall and temperate/tropical climate, Huatusco is a perfect region for growing high quality coffee lots. Farms in the region are well-organized and coffee is mostly shade-grown, with intercropping practices greatly improving environmental impact and sustainability.

Unparalleled quality, a human story, and sustainability – that’s our coffee philosophy.

  • Unparalleled quality. We won’t buy a coffee unless we know that it will inspire you.
  • A human story. Often times a producer’s story gets lost in the coffee supply chain. It’s our focus to provide a seed to cup experience, honoring everyone involved.
  • Sustainability. We purchase sustainable coffees directly from producers and through brokers who share our goal of making coffee a sustainable commodity. Financially and environmentally, the coffees we purchase seek balance.
